The White House

The White House has stunning sea views on three aspects, looking out onto the Sound of Mull and across to the Morvern and Ardnamurchan peninsulas.

It is very much a family holiday home. It is however available for a good number of weeks all year round. We invite you to experience the beautiful and peaceful setting of this secluded property.

Ground Floor

  • Fully equipped, modern open plan kitchen with electric ovens and hob, nespresso coffee machine ( with complimentary capsules) , fridge, freezer & dishwasher. There is also a seating area with wood burning stove.
  • South facing dining room with a spectacular view of the Sound of Mull and over to Salen.
  • Large drawing room with open wood fire, comfortable sofas, writing desk, tv/ dvd and seating in the bay window to enjoy the views of the sea.
    Laundry Facilities.

First Floor

  • Master bedroom with super king size bed, en-suite free standing bath and shower, double aspect sea view.
  • Double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite with bath. Bay window and sea view.
  • Twin room with single brass frame bedsteads. Double aspect sea view and adjacent shower room.
  • Additional bedroom which can be either a double or twin room with sea view and adjacent bath/shower room.
  • First floor TV room with sofa and bean-bags.

General

  • The house is centrally heated and has oak flooring throughout.
  • Separate back kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer.
  • WiFi
  • One well behaved dog welcome. Dogs are not to be left at home unattended.

Outdoors

  • South facing patio and lawn, garden dining furniture, two steamer chairs, and barbecue.
  • A path leads from the lawn around the side of the house, with spectacular views over the Sound, to the pier.
  • Access to the water.
  • Sandy and shingle beaches.
  • 13th Century Aros Castle sits within the 42 acre Estate and can be explored.
  • Lookout point with picnic table.

The White House is a family holiday home and is available for a large number of weeks all year round. Booking is open from 2nd September for bookings up until 25th September 2021.

2020 Rates

High Season
23rd May – 30th May and 4th July – 5th September
£2,175 p/w

Low Season
£1,200 – £1,800 p/w

2021 Rates

High Season

29th May – 5th June and 26th June – 4th September

£2400 per week or £4550 for a two week stay

 

Low Season

£1400-£2000 dependent on occupancy. Please enquire

We are  following strict guidance from the Association of Scottish Self Caterers on cleaning the properties. Check in for all properties  will be 5.30pm and check out 9.30 am to accommodate the extra cleaning required.

 

Latest guidance on Covid Restrictions published by ‘Visit Scotland’ in relation to self catering holidays and limits on different households visiting.

Hospitality (from 00:01 Friday 25 September 2020)

 

  • Further restrictions on household gatherings were also announced. These limited households from mixing with other households in private dwellings. Self-contained holiday accommodation is within the definition of a private dwelling, and these restrictions therefore also apply to all forms of self-catering accommodation, including holiday cottages, lodges, apartments, caravans, chalets, houseboats, sailing boats etc. (NB given the range of types of self-catering accommodation available in Scotland, from tree houses and yurts to lighthouses, this list is not exhaustive.)

Riverside House:  fully booked until 6th December

Bookings for up to the 26th September 2021 are being taken from 2nd September 2020. Availability will be posted by 31st August.
